  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced onion and sliced bell peppers, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the penne pasta, BBQ sauce, honey, and chicken broth to the skillet.
  5. Stir well to combine, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and has absorbed most of the liquid.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
