- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped mushrooms and cook until tender (about 5-7 minutes). Add minced garlic in the last minute.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth.
- Fold in sautéed mushrooms, fresh parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper.
- Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crunchy vegetables, crostini, or pita chips. Garnish with parsley.
