Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped mushrooms and cook until tender (about 5-7 minutes). Add minced garlic in the last minute.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth.
  3. Fold in sautéed mushrooms, fresh parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve with crunchy vegetables, crostini, or pita chips. Garnish with parsley.
