Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the milk until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped apples into the batter.
