- 2 medium Ripe Pears
- 1 cup Gorgonzola Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Balsamic Reduction, to taste
- 1–2 teaspoons Fresh Herbs (thyme or rosemary)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- If using homemade dough, roll it out and place it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Thinly slice the pears and arrange them evenly over the flatbread.
- Crumble the gorgonzola over the pears.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top.
- Sprinkle with herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.
- Drizzle with balsamic reduction before serving.
Notes
For added texture, consider sautéing the pears lightly before adding them to the flatbread. Experiment with different toppings like sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions.
