- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) with a cast-iron skillet inside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, and salt until smooth.
- Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and add the butter, letting it melt.
- Pour the batter into the skillet over the melted butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes without opening the oven door.
- Remove and slice the pancakes, dust with powdered sugar, and add desired toppings.
Notes
Use a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet for best results and never open the oven door while baking.
