Description

Delicious and easy Mini German Pancakes, perfect for any occasion and sure to bring joy to your breakfast table.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) with a cast-iron skillet inside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, and salt until smooth.
  3. Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and add the butter, letting it melt.
  4. Pour the batter into the skillet over the melted butter.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes without opening the oven door.
  6. Remove and slice the pancakes, dust with powdered sugar, and add desired toppings.

Notes

Use a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet for best results and never open the oven door while baking.
