- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 3/4 cups flour, and salt. Stir until well mixed and press into the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add lemon juice, zest, 1/4 cup flour, and baking powder, mixing until combined.
- Pour the filling over the hot crust.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, until the filling is set with a slight jiggle in the center. Let cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar, cut into squares, and serve.
