Description

Delicious bite-sized treats combining mascarpone cheese and espresso, reminiscent of classic tiramisu.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Mascarpone Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Espresso Coffee (freshly brewed)
  • 8 oz Dark Chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder (for dusting)
  • 2 tbsp Rum (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of espresso and allow it to cool.
  2. Gently melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, being careful not to overheat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, cooled espresso, and rum. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold the melted chocolate into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
  6. Once chilled, use a small ice cream scoop or your hands to form bite-sized balls.
  7. Roll each truffle in cocoa powder and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  8. Chill again for an additional 60 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve these exquisite treats and enjoy!
