- 1 pound Italian sausage, casing removed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes when cooking the sausage. Don’t skip the fresh parsley for a nice touch of freshness.
