- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 mini slider buns (brioche or whole grain)
- Fresh greens (baby spinach or arugula)
- Optional toppings: crispy bacon, cheese, fresh herbs (thyme or parsley)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked, with an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Slice the cooked chicken into appropriate sizes for the sliders.
- Layer each bun with a piece of chicken, some fresh greens, and any additional toppings of your choice.
- Serve on a large platter and enjoy!
Notes
Allow the chicken to rest before slicing to keep the juices locked in. Grill should be preheated to avoid sticking.
