Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil or olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Mince garlic, grate ginger, and chop green onions.
  2. Mix the Sauce: Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  3. Cook the Turkey: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add ground turkey.
  4. Sauté Until Browned: Cook turkey until browned, about 5-7 minutes, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Add Sauce: Lower heat, pour sauce over turkey, stir to coat, and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve over rice or in lettuce wraps.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers when cooking.
