Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mustard, honey, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until well-blended.
  2. While whisking continuously, slowly pour in the olive oil to emulsify the dressing.
  3. Add the red wine vinegar and whisk until fully combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Transfer the vinaigrette into a sealed jar and refrigerate. Shake well before using.

Notes

Allow the vinaigrette to sit for at least 30 minutes before using to let the flavors meld beautifully. Shake or stir again before serving, as the ingredients may separate.
