Description

A bright and citrusy cocktail that combines fresh grapefruit juice, vermouth, and sparkling water, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 fresh grapefruits
  • 2 ounces sweet or dry vermouth
  • 4 ounces sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., mint or rosemary)
  • A splash of simple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Juice one grapefruit half and slice the other half into wedges for garnish.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the grapefruit juice and vermouth (and simple syrup if desired).
  3. Shake well to blend the ingredients.
  4. Fill a glass with ice and strain the mixture into the glass.
  5. Top off the drink with sparkling water.
  6. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and a sprig of herb.

Notes

For an alternative, you can use orange or blood orange instead of grapefruit. Flavored sparkling water can add an exciting twist.
