Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, keeping some bacon fat in the skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent and fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until golden.
  3. In a large pot, combine the sautéed vegetables, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
