Ingredients
Bowtie Pasta – 12 ounces
Ground Beef – 1 pound
Heavy Cream – 1 cup
Parmesan Cheese – 1 cup, grated
Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
Olive Oil – 2 tablespoons
Mushrooms (optional) – 8 ounces, sliced
Fresh Herbs – To garnish
Salt and Pepper – To taste
Instructions
1. Boil salted water and cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and brown for 5–7 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the beef. Sauté until fragrant and softened, about 2–3 minutes.
4. Pour in heavy cream, simmer, then stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
5. Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Mix well and use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce thickness.
6. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with chopped herbs and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
You can substitute with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
To add greens, stir in baby spinach just before serving.
