  • 1 sheet puff pastry

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt a tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, combine the ground beef, sautéed vegetables, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and place the meat mixture in the center. Fold the pastry over the top and seal the edges.
  5. Place the sealed meatloaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
