A delightful, pull-apart dessert that combines sweet dough with cinnamon and crunchy walnuts, perfect for family gatherings.

- 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup brown sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- A dash of nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a bundt pan generously with non-stick spray or butter.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters.
- In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Toss the dough pieces in this mixture until evenly coated.
- Layer the dough pieces in the bundt pan and sprinkle half of the chopped walnuts in between the layers.
- Pour the melted butter over the assembled dough and nut layers.
- Add the remaining dough pieces on top and sprinkle with the rest of the walnuts.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and inside is cooked through.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Serve warm.
Notes
For a glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk and drizzle over the warm monkey bread.
