- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces. Toss with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the seasoned apple pieces into the batter.
- Scoop generous rounds of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving warm.
