Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, basil)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup softened butter
- 2–3 tablespoons cold water
- Optional: garlic powder, crushed red pepper flakes, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, cheddar, mozzarella, herbs, salt, and butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Slowly add cold water one tablespoon at a time until the dough comes together.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to ¼-inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
- Transfer to the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle additional salt on top before baking. Use dried herbs if fresh ones aren’t available, adjusting quantities as needed.
