- 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts, halved
- 1 large baguette, sliced into ½-inch pieces
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese, grated
- ¼ cup hot honey, or to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to season
- Optional: Fresh herbs (thyme or parsley), toasted nuts for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss halved Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 20-25 minutes, tossing halfway through.
- Arrange baguette slices on another baking sheet, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and bake until golden, about 5-7 minutes.
- On each toasted baguette slice, layer roasted Brussels sprouts and a sprinkle of white cheddar.
- Return crostini to the oven for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
- Drizzle hot honey over the top and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure Brussels sprouts are dried to achieve maximum crispiness. Experiment with different breads for crostini.
