Ingredients
- Lasagna Noodles
- Ricotta Cheese
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Parmesan Cheese
- Béchamel Sauce (4 tbsp butter, ¼ cup flour, 3 cups whole milk)
- White Button Mushrooms or Cremini
- Spinach or Zucchini
- Garlic
- Onions
- Fresh Basil and Parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the Béchamel Sauce: Melt butter, whisk in flour, gradually add milk, and season.
- Sauté the Vegetables: Heat olive oil, add onions and garlic, then mushrooms, and spinach until tender.
- Assemble the Lasagna: Layer béchamel, noodles, ricotta, sautéed veggies, mozzarella, then repeat layers.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
- Rest Before Serving: Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Be sure not to overcook the noodles; they should be al dente. Allow the lasagna to rest for perfect slicing.
