Description
A luxurious and comforting dish made with cauliflower, butter, and aromatic garlic, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus additional for serving
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free option)
- ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Rinse and set aside to drain.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain well.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add the drained cauliflower to the skillet, and toss gently to coat with the garlic butter.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. If using, add the parmesan cheese at this point. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Transfer the creamy cauliflower to a serving dish, drizzle with more melted butter if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
Notes
Avoid overcooking the cauliflower to maintain texture. Fresh herbs enhance the dish’s flavor.
