- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- Black pepper, to taste

- Crispy toast or warm biscuits, for serving
Instructions
- Chop the dried beef into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously until it forms a smooth paste, about 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring until the mixture thickens and bubbles, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add the chopped beef to the skillet, stirring to coat evenly with the creamy sauce.
- For a thinner sauce, add more milk as needed.
- Spoon the Creamed Chipped Beef over crispy toast or warm biscuits and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce or sautéed mushrooms.
