- 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 4 oz pancetta, diced
- 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 tsp dried thyme)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare your tart crust: Roll out the dough, press it into a tart pan, and poke small holes with a fork.
- Cook the pancetta in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix fresh cranberries, honey, and thyme.
- Layer brie slices in the tart crust, followed by the cranberry mixture and pancetta.
- Brush the crust with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding orange zest to the cranberry mixture. Leave the brie rind on for a rustic touch.
