Description

Crispy egg rolls filled with a savory mix of crab meat, cream cheese, and green onions, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh or imitation)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well combined.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a surface with a corner pointing toward you. Place about 2 tablespoons of filling on the wrapper.
  3. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck the sides in, and roll tightly, sealing the edges with a dab of water.
  4. In a large skillet, heat about 2 inches of oil over medium heat until shimmering. Fry the egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

For a zesty twist, add lemon zest to the filling. Ensure the cream cheese is soft for easy mixing.
