A comforting dessert made from day-old cinnamon rolls, soaked in a creamy custard and baked to perfection.

- 8–10 cinnamon rolls (preferably day-old)
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
- 1 cup heavy cream (optional)
- 1 cup sugar (brown sugar works well)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the cinnamon rolls into bite-sized pieces and arrange in a greased baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream (if using), sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
- Pour the custard over the cinnamon rolls, pressing down gently. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top before baking. Serve warm with powdered sugar, caramel sauce, or whipped cream.
