- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups peeled, chopped apples
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon sugar on top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing the batter.
