- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped and toasted hazelnuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips and hazelnuts until evenly mixed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly crispy and centers remain soft. Allow cooling for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast hazelnuts in a skillet before adding them to the dough. Store leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
