Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and hazelnuts until evenly mixed.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly crispy and centers remain soft. Allow cooling for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.
