A creamy and comforting Italian pasta dish with tender chicken and melting mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients

- 250g chicken breast, cubed
- 200g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 350g penne pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh herbs (basil, oregano) for garnish
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta cooking water.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly, and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked chicken back to the skillet, followed by the pasta. Stir in the shredded mozzarella, using reserved pasta water to reach desired sauce consistency.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Use whole-grain pasta and add vegetables for added fiber and vitamins. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
