- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper; sauté until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and slice.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then stir in cream and simmer.
- Add pasta and sliced chicken, tossing to combine. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
- Serve garnished with parsley or more Cajun seasoning.
Notes
Always taste your pasta water; it should be pleasantly salty. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F.
