- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: thyme or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings.
- In a large bowl, combine brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Add pineapple chunks to the marinade, coating well.
- Toss chicken wings in the marinade until fully coated. Let sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the wings in a single layer.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Broil for the last 5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving, garnished with pineapple chunks and herbs.
Notes
Wings can be marinated overnight for deeper flavor. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for better crispiness.
