Description

Deliciously flaky and creamy bites of brie cheese combined with sweet-tart cranberry sauce, all wrapped in a golden puff pastry.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • Brie cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares or circles (about 3 inches wide).
  3. Place a small dollop of cranberry sauce in the center of each pastry piece and top with a piece of brie and another dollop of cranberry sauce.
  4. Fold pastry edges over the filling, pinching to seal. Brush with egg wash.
  5. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool slightly and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Keep the pastry cold until ready to use for better flakiness. Experiment with flavors by adding nuts or spices.
