Description

Delightful bite-sized pastries filled with creamy brie and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg + 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as thyme or rosemary)
  • Chopped nuts (optional, such as pecans or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares (about 4×4 inches).
  3. Slice the brie into small wedges (about 1-2 inches).
  4. Place a square of puff pastry on a lined baking sheet, add a spoonful of cranberry sauce, then a wedge of brie.
  5. Sprinkle fresh herbs or chopped nuts on top of the brie and cranberry.
  6. Fold the corners of the puff pastry over the filling to form a package and pinch the seams.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Use chilled pastry for better puff and avoid overfilling the bites.
