- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 egg + 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
- Fresh herbs (optional, such as thyme or rosemary)
- Chopped nuts (optional, such as pecans or walnuts)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares (about 4×4 inches).
- Slice the brie into small wedges (about 1-2 inches).
- Place a square of puff pastry on a lined baking sheet, add a spoonful of cranberry sauce, then a wedge of brie.
- Sprinkle fresh herbs or chopped nuts on top of the brie and cranberry.
- Fold the corners of the puff pastry over the filling to form a package and pinch the seams.
- Brush the tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
