Ingredients

  • Babybel cheese (regular or light)
  • Breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional spices (garlic powder, paprika, Italian herbs)

Instructions

  1. Remove the wax from the Babybel cheese and set the cheese rounds aside.
  2. Prepare a dipping station: in one bowl, place the breadcrumbs mixed with your chosen spices, and in another, set a whisked egg or non-dairy alternative.
  3. Dip each Babybel round first into the egg mixture, ensuring they’re fully coated, then into the breadcrumb blend. Press gently for an even coating.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Arrange the breaded Babybels in a single layer inside the fryer. Make sure they aren’t touching to allow even cooking.
  6. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove carefully with tongs and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
