A comforting and easy one-pot pasta dish featuring creamy garlic sauce and earthy mushrooms.
Ingredients

- 8 oz Pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 8 oz Mushrooms (cremini or shiitake), sliced
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (parsley or basil), chopped
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until golden, then add mushrooms and cook until they release juices.
- Add pasta directly to the skillet and pour in enough water to cover the pasta. Season with salt.
- As water begins to boil, lower the heat, stir in heavy cream and half of the grated Parmesan.
- Simmer gently, stirring occasionally until pasta is cooked to preference and sauce reaches desired consistency.
- Off the heat, stir in remaining Parmesan and fresh herbs. Adjust seasoning and serve immediately.
Notes
Reserve a little pasta water to adjust the sauce’s thickness if needed.
