  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  4. Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix until creamy.
  5. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture, then stir to combine.
  6. Gradually add the flour, mixing just until integrated. Avoid over-mixing.
  7. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
