Ingredients
- Fresh oysters (about a dozen)
- Unsalted butter (4 tablespoons)
- Fresh garlic, minced (4 cloves)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (1 cup)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (2 tablespoons)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Clean the oysters under cool running water and shuck if comfortable.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Remove from heat, add grated Parmesan and parsley, season with salt and black pepper.
- Place oysters on the grill and spoon the Parmesan garlic butter over each.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle red pepper flakes or use Italian seasoning.
