Ingredients

  • Fresh oysters (about a dozen)
  • Unsalted butter (4 tablespoons)
  • Fresh garlic, minced (4 cloves)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (1 cup)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (2 tablespoons)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Clean the oysters under cool running water and shuck if comfortable.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Remove from heat, add grated Parmesan and parsley, season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Place oysters on the grill and spoon the Parmesan garlic butter over each.
  6. Grill for 5-7 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes
